Regulatory status

MonCore is a technology platform developed by MonTech Group UAB (Vilnius, Lithuania). MonCore is not a bank, electronic money institution (EMI) or card issuer, does not hold a financial licence in its own name, and does not hold or safeguard customer funds.

Regulated financial activity is provided by a licensed EMI, of which MonTech Group UAB is an Electronic Money Distributor (EMD). The EMI issues the IBAN accounts and payment cards; MonCore provides them to customers as the EMI’s distributor. MonCore is currently in issuer integration and platform development, and is not yet onboarding third-party customers or operating public production services. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer, solicitation or provision of regulated financial services.
