Compliance and security,
designed into the core.
MonCore is being built so that determinism, compliance and auditability are properties of the platform — not features added later. This page describes our design approach, and is honest about what is not yet in place.
What MonCore is — and isn’t
MonCore is a technology platform. It is not a bank, EMI or card issuer, and does not itself hold a financial licence or customer funds. Regulated activity is provided by a licensed EMI — MonTech Group UAB is its Electronic Money Distributor (EMD). The EMI issues the accounts and cards; MonCore provides them to customers as the EMI’s distributor. MonCore is currently in issuer integration and is not yet onboarding third-party customers.
How trust is engineered
Ledger authority
Balances derive only from immutable double-entry postings. Execution agents never mutate financial state directly.
Embedded compliance
KYC orchestration, AML monitoring, velocity and rolling-exposure counters designed into the runtime.
Audit & export
Audit trails and reporting tooling, so activity can be evidenced and reviewed.
Security boundaries
A clear separation between your frontend surface and the governed financial core, with least-privilege access.
Data protection
Designed around data-minimisation and protection principles, with processing scoped to what each domain requires.
Determinism
Idempotency and replay protection so the same operation cannot double-apply — reconciliation to the cent by design.
We don’t claim certifications or approvals we don’t hold
Formal certifications, regulatory approvals and independent assurances will be stated here only once they are in place and verifiable. Until then, this page describes the architecture and principles we are building toward — not accreditations we claim today.
